Where are you located?
We are in the Blackrock Business Park just off Carysfort Ave in Blackrock Co. Dublin. Click the following link for Google Maps.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, upon entering the Blackrock Business Park from Carysfort Ave, Medfit is the second left. We have three car parking spaces directly outside the front entrance. If these three are unavailable please take the next left for more parking along the grey wall.

How much does a session cost?
Our pricing varies by service — please visit our services page or call us for specific rates.
Can I claim back from my health insurance?
In most cases, yes — but this depends on your policy. Please check with your insurer about your specific cover. We can provide receipts or documentation to assist your claim.

How do I book an appointment?
You can book online, via our contact us form, by phone, or by visiting our reception.
Do I need a referral?
No, you do not need a referral from your GP or consultant to make an appointment with us. You can book online , connect with us by our enquiry form and we will contact you OR call us on 01 2784423 and our friendly, dedicated team will be very happy to discuss your requirements.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
How long is each session?
Initial consultations typically last 60 minutes; follow-up sessions are usually 30 minutes.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring any relevant documentation, for example, letters from consultants or doctors that you may have. We do recommend wearing or bringing something comfortable on the day as your assessment will usually involve movement or exercise. We have shower rooms, locker rooms and sauna rooms that you can avail of. We provide towels on arrival.

What should I expect in my first physio session?
Your physio will conduct a detailed assessment, discuss your goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on your condition and goals — your therapist will discuss a recommended plan with you.
Do you provide home exercise programs?
Yes! We provide tailored exercise programs you can follow at home between sessions.
Can I use the gym facilities outside of sessions?
If you are a gym member, yes. Non-members can access gym space during supervised rehab sessions only.
What are the membership subscription fees?

Do you offer post-surgery rehab?
Yes, we specialize in post-operative rehabilitation, including joint replacements, spinal surgery, and ACL repair.
Do you have programs for arthritis or chronic pain?
Absolutely — we provide evidence-based treatments for arthritis, chronic pain, and joint conditions.
Do you offer programs for cardiac or respiratory rehab?
Yes, we run structured cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation programs with exercise physiologists. These programs are covered by VHI only
What is cardiac care cover with VHI?
Certain VHI plans cover both cardiac care and cardiac rehabilitation at Medfit.
Cardiac care is a preventative program that anyone can do. If you have this included in your plan you can claim €250 – €500 back. This can be claimed in any 24 month period.You can claim 3 months membership or more or a 6 week rehabilitation program with one of our exercise physiologists under cardiac care.
Cardiac rehabilitation is for someone who has been diagnosed with heart disease or recovering from a cardiac event eg. stenting, heart attack or heart surgery. At Medfit we provide phase 4 cardiac rehab. To commence cardiac rehab with us you will need medical clearance from your cardiologist or GP. If you have this included in your plan you can claim €250 – €500 back. This can be claimed in any 24 month period.
Do you support long COVID recovery?
We offer individualized rehab for clients recovering from long COVID, focusing on rebuilding strength and function.
